Add Terms & Conditions Using Custom Fields

Before you begin: you'll want to have or create a custom Terms & Conditions page for your users to read. For more information about creating custom pages, click here.

Create Terms & Conditions Field

To add a custom field that you can reuse across all your campaigns, go to Organisation > Custom Fields, select Profile, then click Add New as shown here:

A form will appear, and you can enter the name of your custom field, what type of field you'd like it to be (i.e., Text, Email, Checkbox, Currency Select, etc.), whether you'd like it to be required, etc. You can read more about the types of fields here: Custom Field Types.

Press Save, and the custom field is now available to be added to forms across all your campaigns.

Now, enter the campaign you'd like to edit, then click on Settings > Signup Form > Add New:

In the Field area, scroll down and select your newly-created Terms & Conditions label. You can again select whether the field is required, and set the Label as the text you'd like to appear, such as:

  • I have read and agree to the <a href="#" target="_blank">Terms & Conditions</a>."

📝 Note: you'll want to replace the "#" with the URL to your own Terms & Conditions page. For example:

Press Save, and your signup form will now have link to your Terms & Conditions!

Add Terms & Conditions to Other Campaigns

Now that you've created the custom Terms & Conditions field, you can add this field to any or all of your Raisely campaigns. To do so, follow the second half of the steps above, from entering the campaign you'd like to edit, then clicking on Settings > Signup Form > Add New.
