Fonts are the unsung heroes of the web. Period. They enable us to understand everything on the web, yet they are such an integral part of everything we do online that they are easy to overlook.

Choose the Right Fonts

Once you have your brand essentials in place, choosing the right fonts for your campaign really helps to create a cohesive and unified visual identity.

The fonts you choose say a lot about your campaign. For example, if you are looking to promote your campaign as sleek and sophisticated, a serif font with decorative frills might be appropriate. Conversely, if you are looking to appeal to a younger demographic, a simple sans-serif typeface may be more applicable.

Raisely is integrated with Google Fonts, meaning that you can simply add a Google when setting up a heading or paragraph. It is also easy to add your own custom font.

Set a Clear Hierarchy

When going through and setting up your different heading, paragraph, and link styles, it is important to consider the styles of each in turn. Hierarchy refers to the relationship between all of these elements and it is important to ensure that you create clear, distinct differences between each level.

For example, no one heading level (1 - 6) should be identical, neither should any higher level be of equal or more importance than any preceding level. For example, your Heading 4 should not appear more prominent than your Heading 2:

There are many things that can determine hierarchy, including font family, size, weight, and colour-- all of which you can adjust. It can be tricky, so don't be afraid to play around until it feels just right 👌
