Disable Search Indexing

While your website is in development, you can hide your website from search engines like Google so it's not accidentally indexed and stumbled upon by someone looking for your cause or charity.

Here's how you can hide your website from search engines.

  1. Go into your campaign, and then click "Settings"
  2. Click "Campaign Settings"
  3. Look for the toggle called "Discourage search engines from indexing this campaign" and switch it on

If your website has already been indexed by Google it may take a few days to be removed.

Make sure you disable this when you send your website live, to avoid any issues with people finding it through their favourite search engine!
