In June we've released major upgrades to receipting in Raisely, along with a handful of other improvements to help you with your fundraising!

New features

🧾 Major upgrades to receipting

Raisely's receipting system has had a major makeover. We now support PDF-receipts and full compliance with charitable receipting law in Australia, the US, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK.

It's easy to set up a beautiful, clean, and compliant PDF receipt and send it automatically to your donors. We handle all the management for you, including voiding past receipts, and appropriately marking resends.

Using payment routing? You can set up a receipt per gateway. If you're taking registration fees, we automatically break those down with tax for you.

💳 Easier donation management

We've made it easier for you to find failed or refunded donations with a new filter box at the top of your Donations tab in the Raisely admin panel. When you open up a donation that has failed, we'll give you a little more information about what happened:

You're looking at it! We've redesigned and reorganised our support site to make it easier to find the information you need to know about your Raisely campaign.

Updates

Payment gateways
We've redesigned how you add payment gateways to your campaign. To add an already connected gateway (Stripe or PayPal) you can now click the "Add Now" button. To connect a new gateway, use the "Connect New Account" button. Hopefully this is all a bit nicer to use!
Payment routing
We've updated the interface to manage payment routing to include an easier conditions builder that requires less guesswork, and will be quicker to set up.
Your donors can now resend their own receipts via their account page
The Raisely account page has had a minor upgrade to allow your donors to resend themselves receipts for past donations from any campaign in your Raisely account, perfect for EOFY.
Embedded donation form improvements
Embedded donation forms have had some analytics changes to avoid clashes with other on-page tracking. We also automatically pass down query parameters, meaning you can pre-fill fields on an embedded donation form without any extra code.

Bug fixes

Our handy # merge field picker works in custom email templates again
When someone signs up with Facebook, we'll save their profile image to Raisely so it never expires.
When updating their regular donation, your donors can now only pick intervals chosen by you in your donation form settings
Tidy up error messages when someone donates via PayPal with an unsupported currency
Fix up message reports sometimes showing blank data
