Reporting Types & Templates

Raisely’s data is separated into categories, and it’s these categories that make up the Report Types. Report Types have their own unique core data fields that are used to populate a report. For example, Donation Reports have core fields based on donations processed with each donation assigned it’s own row within the report. Each Report Type has pre-built templates to help you speed up the process in creating the right report.
Below you can find a list of these Report Types with the available templates to use.

Using Other Data Fields for a Report

Raisely's Report Builder gives you the flexibility to place various data fields in your report from other data categories. This allows you to add new fields within different report templates, creating the reports you need.
Fields from other categories are available if there is a relationship found. For example, Receipts are a relation of Donations, as every donation contains a corresponding receipt. If there is no relation, then the fields will not be available to use in that report.
💡To note, when using fields from other Types, you will not have access to filtering for those fields.

Helpful Ways to Think About Reports

Despite our best wishes, often having just one single report for everything doesn’t tend to work. Thinking through reporting in categories, can help you develop a collection of reports that together form a comprehensive picture of your campaigns, donors, and fundraising efforts. Here are helpful categories which can help break things down:
  • Campaign Management
Reports that capture the progress during campaigns, helping you make agile decisions to improve campaign performance.
  • Campaign Success
Reports that provide a finalised picture of your campaign, in order to review existing campaign and make decisions on future ones.
  • Marketing Success
Reports to capture fundraiser & donors interaction to see where the best invests may lie to future growth through communication & advertising.
  • Donor Profiling
Reports that provide donor and fundraiser insights from your database. These reports enable your marketing and sales departments to see into your audience through clear data.
  • Accounting Reconciliation
Financial reporting necessary to manage the donation transactions and reconciliations needing for various accounting setups.
  • Integration Support
Reports needed purely to enable integrations with other CRMs or organisation solutions
