Setting Up Integration
The integration is available through Blackbaud's Marketplace. To get the integration setup, simply:

- 2
- Search the Marketplace for 'Raisely' and select 'Install'
- 3
- Back on the Home screen, under 'Tasks' select Raisely Integration Settings. This link can also be found within the Raisely Box within individual constituents.
- 4
- Within the Overview section, select Connect alongside Raisely Connect Status. You will then be asked to enter the Raisely API which can be found within Raisely's campaign settings under API's & Webhooks
- 5
- Next select Connect alongside RE NXT Connect Status, and Authorise connection. Note - only Organisation Admins in Raiser's Edge NXT can authorise this connection.
- 6
- You will need to configure the Constituent and Gift Default settings. Select the Tabs to view and map your field settings.
- 7
- Within Field Settings, you can map Donor, Fundraiser, and Donation fields between Raisely and Raiser's Edge NXT
- 8
- When ready, in your Overview Settings, you can now view the Raisely Campaigns available to integrate. To enable campaign integration turn Status switcher to Integration On. You also have the option of changing constituent and gift field settings per-campaign.
- 9
- Now you can view constituents Profile and Donation records from Raisely directly in Raiser's Edge NXT. Against each Profile or Donation you can also find a shortcut link that will take you directly to that account within Raisely to view.

# Core Field Mapping
The common donor and constituent fields are already mapped by default in our system and there is nothing that needs to be done on the settings page to have these associated attributes synced during the transfer. This includes but not limited to:
- first name
- last name
- phone number

# Custom Field Mapping
Raisely custom fields can only be mapped to other NXT custom fields, and not core fields. The "Field Settings" tab is only for additional custom fields that the you might have in your RE NXT environment that you wish to be mapped and populated during transfers.

Understanding the Data Integration
Gifts will be automatically added to RE in real time. They will be able to be associated with a configurable appeal, fund and campaign. RE NXT is one-directional, meaning that data is transferred from Raisely to RE NXT at the time of the action, but any updates within RE NXT won’t automatically update in Raisely.
The integration with Raiser's Edge NXT enables you to view an individuals Profile and Donation data within their constituent records. Since you may have uniquely named fields within Raiser's Edge NXT that differ from your custom fields within Raisely, mapping the Raisely fields to their corresponding one in Raiser's Edge NXT can be done in the Integration.
The integration will automatically add new constituents for both donors and fundraisers, with de-duping based on name and email address.

# Regular Gifts
Regular gifts will be added as standard one-time gifts in RE NXT with an attribute to indicate that they are a regular gift. At the moment, there is no 'schedule' that is created within the constituent record in RE NXT.

# Fundraisers
Fundraisers will be added as constituents, with a field mapping interface to connect custom fields from Raisely to attributes/core fields in RE NXT. Constituents will be associated with an appeal to indicate their participation in a peer-to-peer campaign. Gifts will be soft-credited to fundraiser constituent records where needed.

FAQs

## expand
# How is the Raisely Tip handled?
The fee is automatically included within the transaction because the Raisely fee is considered a "Donation" to the organisation, which is then later taken out as a fee within Stripe. But from the RE NXT's perspective, it's recorded together as a full donation so there isn't currently a way to parse out the fee and initial donation amount.

# Can I batch approve the gifts?
The integration does not have ability to batch review/approve data being transferred. This is common practice in importing records into RE NXT but at the moment the integration does not have the ability to review the data being imported in order to correct data, merge records, etc.

## expand
# How do I reconcile receipt numbers?
The integration does not import Raisely receipt number, or any other unique identifier against the Gifts. However, all Raisely receipts reference the Donation ID which is available via the integration so you can use Donation ID to match to the Raisely donation/receipt.

## expand
# Are offline donations sent through the integration?
Offline donations do not generate webhook events which means they are not synced through the integration. This includes matched gifts, which are added to campaigns as “offline” donations.

# How are tickets processed through the integration?
Mapping of tickets isn't currently optimised in the integration so at the moment, tickets are transferred as gifts and attendee fields cannot be mapped.
