FAQs

General Donation Form Settings

There are a number of settings available for the Donation Form, including setting up different donation amounts and frequencies, the types of fields you collect on the form and using the Regular Giving upsell. To get started, you'll want to navigate to Campaign > Settings > Donation Form.

Customising the Donation Form Amount Frequencies

1
On the Donation Form settings page, click on the Amounts tab
2
The first section allows you to customise your Donation Frequencies. Click on Add New if you'd like to see all the options available. Once you've added a new frequency, you can click on the six dots next to the frequency to re-order the way they appear on your donation form. You can also Delete any frequencies you have added
3
Depending on the number of donation frequencies you have added, you'll see them appear as an individual button in the next section where you can add donation amounts under each of them
4
Once you're happy, click on Save Changes

Customising the Donation Form Amount Handles

1
On the Donation Form settings page, click on the Amounts tab
2
Select the Donation Frequency you'd like to add or remove dollar amounts to
3
To create new donation handles select Add Amount. A new box will appear where you can make customisations to the dollar handle
4
To modify or remove a dollar amount, click on Edit next to the dollar amount. You'll see all the same options above and also the Delete button at the bottom left hand corner of the box. You can also click on the six dots next to the dollar amount to re-order how they appear on the donation form
5

Once you're happy, click on  Save Changes

Customising the Donation Form Fields

1
On the Donation Form settings page, click on the Fields tab
2
Select the Donation Frequency you'd like to add or remove dollar amounts to. There are two types of fields available here, Visible or Hidden. Visible fields appear on your donation form and allow your donors to interact with them. Hidden fields can be used to capture information in the background, so be sure to leave them as not required to prevent any issues
3
When you first set up your form fields, you'll see that there are some core fields enabled by default. We recommend not removing them as that may affect your donation form's functionality
4
Click on Add New if you'd like to add an existing donation form field, or you can create a brand new custom field
5

Once you're happy, click on  Save

🟢 When generating reports, you'll want to refer to the Field ID, which helps you to identify the specific field you're pulling into the report

4
Under the Form Step Headings, you can customise the headings for the Donor's Details step as well as the Payment Step. Under the Thank You section, you can customise the thank you message that appears after the Donor completes their donation. You can choose to add a Share URL to an external website that appears alongside the thank you message

## expand

# How do I change the colours of the Donation Form?

The colours of the Donation form are pulled from your Primary and Secondary colours. For further changes, they can be amended using CSS.

# Can I choose which payment method icons to display?

It's only possible to hide all the payment method icons using CSS. However, we recommend against this as we've done extensive research and the data shows the payment icons help to add trust and credibility to your donation form.
