Changing the Account Owner
This guide will step you through how to update the Account Ownership for your Raisely Account. As the Account Owner has large control over your campaigns and visibility of sensitive data, we take all account ownership changes extremely serious to protect you and your organisation.
Changing the Account Ownership
- 1
- From your Organisation Dashboard, go to Settings > Team
- 2
- If the new Account Owner is not an existing team member, you'll need to add them as a new team member and assign them the Organisation Admin permissions ( note: we recommend using a role-based email to prevent losing access to the account)
- 3
- Once the new team member has been added or identified within your Team settings, reach out to support with the email address connected to your existing Account Owner. We also recommend cc'ing in the email address of the new Account Owner so you can keep these changes for record
- 4
- Raisely Support will verify the changes and help you to update the Account Ownership. You can feel free to remove the old Account owner's account from the Team settings page
🟢 Please be sure that you are making this request from the existing Account Owner's email address, as we use this for authentication purposes.
Admin Notifications
All important communication from Raisely will be sent to the Account Owner by default. This can include important information on your account or updates regarding the platform.
Within Messages, there's an option to include your Organisation Admins as additional recipients of any default or custom messages you are sending out. This can be customised in Step 1 of the message building
