Donation Form: Intelligent Amounts
What is intelligent amounts?
Intelligent amounts is our artificial intelligence powered feature to increase the amount of fundraising through your donation form.
With intelligent amounts on, we will automatically select the donation amounts to show to users of your campaign to maximise two things:
- the number of donors who make a donation
- the size of donation
Combined, intelligent amounts works to show the donation amounts that maximise the amount of fundraising per visitor to your campaign.

If you are creating a brand new campaign, the intelligent amount option will be toggled ON by default. You can switch this toggle by going to Campaign > Settings > Donation Form > Amounts:

How does intelligent amounts work?
Intelligent amounts works by showing different visitors to your campaign different sets of donation amounts and identifies those that are associated with more conversions and larger donations. For example, one user might see $30, $50, $100, $200, $500, while another user might see $50, $100, $200, $500. If more users make a donation using the second set of amounts and those donations are larger, we’ll show this set of amounts more often.
Intelligent amounts is always learning. It will keep measuring what the best amounts to display for your campaign are and updating what’s shown to visitor.
If your campaign has just started or you’ve just turned intelligent amounts on we’ll use the information we’ve gathered from all the other campaigns on Raisely using intelligent amounts to show your users the donation amounts that usually perform the best. Then over time, we’ll learn the specific amounts that work best for your campaign. You can think of it like a massive A/B test that shares the information it learns from the thousands of campaigns on Raisely, while also customising results just for you.
Intelligent amounts also uses characteristics from users visiting your campaign like their device and currency to show the high performing amounts for these users.

# Can I use regular giving with intelligent amounts?
Yes, you can toggle regular giving on and off with intelligent amounts. When toggled on, we’ll use our intelligent amounts algorithms to display monthly regular giving on your form.

# Can I use labels/images/text with intelligent amounts?
No, because we’ll be showing different amounts to different users we’re not able to map custom labels/images/text to these amounts

# Why is the option to toggle on/off the feature disabled and greyed out?
In order to enable/disable the feature, you need to first connect a Stripe payment account to your campaign settings. You can refer to How to Set Up Your Stripe Payment Gateway for further instructions on how to do so.
