Pages: Adding Images to Pages
Images help your audience to connect with your content in an engaging way, and can speak volumes about the work that you do and the impact it makes. Raisely makes it easy to add and style your images within the Page Editor.

Adding a Row Background Image
You can add Background Images to your Rows. To get started, you'll wanted to access your Page Editor.

- Select the Row settings (⛭ top-right). Under the General tab, you'll see the option to add your Background Image

- Within the same tab, you'll see options to further style how your image appears within the row. Options include setting a Focal Point, changing the Image Size, setting a Background Fade and fixing the background while scrolling

- Once you're happy with how the background image looks, hit the green tick to preview the page

- Hit save on the top right hand corner of the page editor to finalise the changes
🟢 The Background Image is automatically optimised for different device types. We recommend keeping your background image simple with no text to prevent visual clutter.
Adding an Image Block
The Image Block is great for adding a single image to your page. You can use it alongside other blocks to create visually stunning content.

Click the "+" icon and select Image under Common Blocks. Click within the Page Preview to place the block

Hover over the block and click on the gear icon to open the Block Settings.

- You can make simple stylistic changes to your Image, and also add an Image Link if you'd like the image to link to another page or an external website. We also recommend adding Alternative Text for accessibility and SEO purposes.

- Once you're happy, click on the green tick and the save button on the top right hand corner of your page editor
Adding an Image Tile Block
The Image Tile block allows you to overlay text on the image, and is great for breaking up the page into sections.

Click the "+" icon and select Image Tile under Common Blocks. Click within the Page Preview to place the block

Hover over the block and click on the gear icon to open the Block Settings.

- Similar to the Image Block, you can also add a Link URL to the image. You can also enter in Text that overlays the image

Once you're happy, click on the green tick and the save button on the top right hand corner of your page editor
Adding the Gallery Block
The Gallery Block allows you to add multiple images to your page in an organised and aesthetically pleasing manner!

Click the "+" icon and search for the Gallery Block. Click within the Page Preview to place the block

Hover over the block and click on the gear icon to open the Block Settings

- You can choose from a few Display options, which will be optimised based on the number of images you have uploaded.You can continue to add as many images as you'd like by clicking on ADD IMAGE within the Block Settings

Once you're happy, click on the green tick and the save button on the top right hand corner of your page editor

# What's the recommended size for images?
In most instances, the image you upload to the blocks will be automatically optimised for all device views. We have a help guide on Image Dimensions that can come in handy. But in general, we recommend giving yourself time to play around with the blocks to see what works best for the page.
