Before you customise your messages
- Keep essential system messages active.
- Preserve functional buttons and personalised links.
- Send a test email after making changes.
- Use wording that still makes sense for different types of recipients.
For Peer-to-Peer campaigns, the Account Confirmation message must remain active so fundraisers can receive their email-verification link.
Appeal Campaigns
Appeal campaigns primarily use donation and receipt messages. They generally do not require fundraiser signup or Account Confirmation messages.

Account Confirmation for P2P campaigns
Raisely’s mandatory spam protection includes email verification for eligible Peer-to-Peer fundraiser signups.
When verification is required:
- The fundraiser completes the signup form.
- Raisely shows a screen asking them to check their email.
- The active Account Confirmation message sends the fundraiser a secure verification link.
- The fundraiser confirms their email before accessing their dashboard or making their profile publicly available.
The Account Confirmation message must remain active on every P2P campaign. If it is inactive or does not contain a working verification link, affected fundraisers may be unable to complete verification.
You can customise the subject line, branding and supporting copy. Use wording that works for both new and returning fundraisers, rather than assuming the recipient has previously fundraised.
Recommended Wording
Subject: Confirm your email address

Button: Confirm my email
